Welcome to Strawberry Wood Caravan Park
A warm friendly welcome awaits you at Strawberry Wood Caravan Park, a unique site set in attractive, mature woodland. 25 pitches, all with electric hook-up, shower blocks and chemical toilet disposal facilities. Open 1st March till 31st October.
Strawberry Wood is at Home Farm, which was originally part of the Jodrell Estate, now famous for the Jodrell Bank Telescope.
The Park is situated in an area of mature woodland and all pitches are amongst trees.
There are electric hook ups to all pitches which are on hard surfaces (awning erection is not a problem with metal pegs). Showers, toilets and chemical and dirty water disposal unit on site.
We accept touring caravans, motor homes, camper vans and trailer tents but the site is not suitable for tents.
Adjacent to the site is a large fishing lake, a footpath has been made all around the lake with easy access from the site.
Lower Withington has two pubs/restaurants. The nearest shop is in Goostrey and all other shopping needs can be found in Holmes Chapel, Congleton or Macclesfield.
Strawberry Wood is conveniently situated for many Northwest tourist attractions:- the Peak National Park, various Stately homes including Capesthorne Hall and Gawsworth Hall, historic towns and cities including Chester, Nantwich, Macclesfield, The Potteries and Northwich.
